It has been confirmed! Jacqueline King, Bernard Cribbins and Catherine Tate have all been seen filming for the Christmas special alongside David Tennant. Jacqueline King plays Sylvia, Donna's mouthy mother, Bernard Cribbins plays Donna's faithful Grandad, and Catherine Tate is back as the noble companion. Please comment.

There are a lot of current rumours that Doctor Who shall be filming for the Christmas Special "outside Donna's house". This isn't confirmed, but shall we just wait and see what happens? Please comment.

News

The Hugo Nominations have now announced that 2 Doctor Who stories have been nominated for an award for "Best Dramatic Presentation: Short Form". These 2 stories are Steven Moffat's "Silence in the library/Forest of the dead", and RTD's "Turn Left". I hope one of them win!

Also, there is a rumour of Stephen Hopkins directing for series 5, which is rumoured to begin in 2010. It is not confirmed yet, but is a possibility. The only thing been confirmed for series 5 so far is Matt Smith as 11. Please comment.

Recently, we have been given a picture of Lee Evans/Malcolm's UNIT ID card. Now, we all presumed Lee Evans to play a professor right? Wrong. Cutbacks and Release Date

First, thepeople.co.uk have announced that the credit crunch means no more special effects and actors won't get paid as much in Doctor Who. This is only a rumour, but rumour has it that Top Gear and Eastenders are effected in the same way too.

Secondly, the POTD DVD release date is confirmed to be May 11th 2009, exactly a month after POTD is rumoured to broadcast. POTD features David Tennant as the Doctor, Michelle Ryan as Lady Christina De Souza and Lee Evans as Malcolm. Please comment.

New Cyberman Boxset

A new boxset containing the Series 28 Cyberman episodes has been (or is being not sure) released. It has 'Rise of the Cybermen', 'The Age of Steel', 'Army of Ghosts' and 'Doomsday.'It also contains an interview with David Tennant and a short documentary on the 25 best Cybermen moments. The thing to the right is the cover. Not just some random image. Well, what did you think it was???
